Join Kafi Allah, Black forager, and Zelda Lockhart for this nice slow paced stroll through Bromley Nature Preserve where we will remember what our foremothers knew about the food and medicine of the plants around us. And...Kafi Is offering each participant a seed package!
No worries, we won't be eating anything, but bring:
* Your camera
* A journal for the fun ways Zelda will prompt you to remember what you already know about foraging.
* Your water bottle
* non-deet bug repellent so that we don't kill the pollinators
* sun screen or hat
Bromley Nature Preserve is located at: 3620 Old NC 10, Durham, NC 27705
Fee: Thanks to the generous sponsorship of a community member. This workshop is now free
