A new author takes over their Instagram feed each week, posting a photo of their choice each day leading up to their publication day. Woohoo!! This amazing Black Owned bookstore is right outside of Richmond, VA and will open its doors in a new space on Juneteenth Weekend. I am so proud to be their first author reading in the new space. I will read from Trinity and offer you all a fun interactive piece from The Soul of the Full-Length Manuscript that lets us have a good time with the ways we are connected through story.
Yep! Of course I'm reading in Fayetteville, NC where so much of the novel Trinity is set. I can't wait because I will also offer a community connection experience to demonstrate how our stories connect us.

I'll be doing that beautiful workshop on connecting and multigenerational healing through our stories. I will be using The Soul of the Full-Length Manuscript to help me to offer the experience of story as healer and connector that we see in Trinity. More info to come.
LaVenson Press is devoted to helping women and girls of color take ownership of their stories through publication.
