Write to Heal through your personal plot This Winter

The Full-Length Manuscript Workshop

12 Tuesdays January 6th - March 24th, 2026

6-9pm EDT

Join me for a journey taken by many women including myself. I take this journey of personal plot over and over first for the sake of healing and growing and second to gift to others the byproduct of story.

In this 12 week women's writing intensive, participants will be guided through the process of writing the first draft of a full-length memoir, novel or collection of poems using Dr. Zelda Lockhart’s book The Soul of the Full-Length Manuscript Turning Life’s Wounds Into the Gift of Literary Fiction, Memoir or Poetry. The writing journey becomes the stepping stones of personal transformation that lead to the first draft of a full-length manuscript. This workshop is a commitment of time, trust, and transformation.

All workshops will be taught from a #Blackfeminist perspective that prioritizes community building, mutual respect, and Black women's ways of knowing.

What's Expressive Writing? –  Expressive Writing is a way to investigate your feelings, emotions, thoughts and your relationships with others through all genres of writing and storytelling. I believe this includes sharing and listening to or consuming stories in healing reciprocity.
